“SPRING INTO GOLF”
Wow, the snow and ice are melting, temperatures are well into the double digits, the Maple sap is flowing and spring wildflowers like snow drops and squill (see below) are emerging from the muddy soil at Western Trent. Indeed, spring is in the air and soon we’ll be golfing!
I love this time of year. Soon I can begin to hope that I have suddenly figured out and mastered the amaisingly simple game of golf.
Ah, that first drive off of the tee…”oops Mulligan”! Or that 18 foot putt on the first green that drifts by the hole coming to rest about 20 feet on the other side. Yes, what a simple game…thanks to spring rules…”put me down for par”.
Yes, I am ready (see below) for spring golf…can you give me a push?
